Your attendance at an important event is needed. LAHR and LAHR PAC are hosting a town hall meeting to allow the LGBT community and others concerned about the rights of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered people to meet the candidates who will be on the November ballot and to ask them important questions.

This important Town Hall will be held;

Members of the community are encouraged to come at 6:00 and have dinner and to thank Tripper's for letting us use this space.

There are a number of current political issues affecting the LGBT community such as women’s reproductive right, health care, education, housing, and jobs. We need to get the LGBT vote out. LAHR and LAHR PAC have invited all local candidates to meet and greet the Greater Lansing LGBT community. Don’t miss this opportunity!!

Personally, I am tired of legislation which goes against my community and me. When they say things like you cannot say VAGINA, then why do they think they have the right to legislate it? I asked my representative for support on an adoption bill and got information about a bill regarding abortion. It’s time folks to step up and be heard! This is why I am attending the forum/town hall meeting. I hope you will attend.

Let’s raise our concerns to these future leaders who will have power over our issues and our lives. We elect them to speak for us and it’s time to speak to them!
